About Me
My name is Shardae Cotton. I am a Junior at Lawrence Technological University majoring in Graphic Design. In December 2017, I received an associate of Arts in Graphic Design. I have worked for Detroit Manufacturing Systems in Detroit, Michigan, for the last four years. During my time there, I won first place in Detroit Manufacturing System's "Detroit Is Home" mural contest and had my Design placed on the cafeteria wall. In addition, when I have free time from work or going to school, I have volunteered remotely as a freelance graphic designer for The Peace Institute in Orlando, Florida, for the last two years. I create their logos, flyers, bookmarks, and promotional cards for the many partnerships they collaborate with within their chapters.
For a short period, I worked for the Word of Faith International Christian Center, where I was their Graphic Designer and Web Assistant. I designed content for God's BeYouties social pages, content for MiChelle Ferguson Ministries social media pages, and content for their Woman 2 Woman with Pastor Deborah Butler, and updated their WOFICC website Daily devotions page as well as their youth devotions page during my time there. I enjoy reading, drawing, and crocheting in my spare time when I am not creating designs for companies or freelancing.
